Pre Team
Ages 7-10
Our Pre-Team Program is for recreational gymnasts in the Hot Shots, Starbrights, and Starbursts levels who are ready for the next step toward competitive gymnastics. Participation is by invitation only, with coaches selecting gymnasts who work hard, take corrections well, and are ready for a challenge. Invitations are extended in late spring and are extremely limited.
Pre-Team gymnasts practice 1.5 hours per week from September through May. Practices focus on proper form, skill development, and learning routines for in-house and out-of-gym performances. The goal of Pre-Team is to prepare gymnasts for our competitive gymnastics team.
Bronze
2026 State Meet: 3rd place
Our Bronze Team is the first level of our competitive gymnastics program. Gymnasts are invited from our Pre-Team Program and Starbursts level based on their skill development, work ethic, and readiness to take on the challenge of competitive gymnastics.
Bronze gymnasts practice twice per week for 1.5 hours each practice from July through May. The goal of the Bronze Team is to provide gymnasts with a positive introduction to competition while working to perfect the skills needed for advancement within our competitive program.
Silver & Gold
2026 State Meet: Silver 3rd, Gold 2nd
Our Silver and Gold Teams are designed for gymnasts who are continuing through our competitive program. Due to limited team space, we do not hold tryouts. Gymnasts advance into these levels through our program and continue to move up as they develop the skills, strength, and consistency required for the next level.
Gymnasts practice 4.5–5 hours per week from July through May.
Platinum & Diamond
2026 Results: Diamonds 6th
Our Platinum and Diamond Teams represent the upper levels of our competitive program and are designed for gymnasts who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the sport and continued advancement through the team program.
Platinum gymnasts train between 5 and 6.5 hours per week, while Diamond gymnasts are required to train 6 hours and 45 minutes per week, from June through May.
Team
Our Pre-Team introduces young gymnasts to the fundamentals of performance through choreography and routines in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Meanwhile, our Competitive Team, through the Xcel Program, offers a balanced approach to gymnastics, fostering skills like teamwork, self-control, and discipline.
