Hello American Allstars Families,
The following information is from the Michigan USA Gymnastics Women's Program after the governor's recent announcements on June 1st.
"We're getting closer, everyone! I know people have questions and are wondering if we are included in any of today's re-opening progressions. Not quite yet, but we're close!
We don’t meet the camp definition: Day camps for children, as defined by Rule 400.11101(i) of the Michigan Administrative Code, may open as of June 8, 2020, subject to guidance issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Residential, travel, and troop camps within the meaning of Rule 400.11101(n), (p), or (q) of the Michigan Administrative Code must remain closed for the time being.
Our gyms don't meet the definitions yet either: Subject to the exceptions in section 14, the following places are closed to ingress, egress, use, and occupancy by members of the public:
Indoor gymnasiums, fitness centers, recreation centers, sports facilities, exercise facilities, exercise studios, and the like."
We hope everyone is doing well and want to assure our customers that auto-tuition has been canceled for gymnastics, dance & ninja and postponed for karate until we are allowed to run our summer classes and camps.
As soon as we know when we are able to run camps and classes again we will get all the make-up class options sent out for the missed classes in March. Our make-ups will consist of a variety of options including special make-up days, current classes in the schedule, summer classes, school's out day camp or summer camp. We will be extremely flexible with our make-up policy so that we can get everyone in for the times they are owed for March.
In the meantime, please check us out on social media for at home options to keep your kids ready to get back into the gym!
We appreciate your understanding, patience and support during this unprecedented time.
