GymFit is designed to engage students in various cardio and strength building exercises; as well as incorporate gymnastics philosophies through light tumbling and body movement. Integrating plyometric exercises, such as tumbling, into a fitness regimen has been shown to benefit athletes in all sports and physical activites. The kids will learn balance, coordination, flexibility, speed, agility, and body awareness. Using their own bodies, the rock wall, rings, exercise balls, inflatable trampoline, and other appropriate kid equipment, students will participate in circuits and games to help gain self-esteem and develop the foundation of a healthy life!
This program is appropriate for kids 6-12 years of age. It is perfect for kids who are interested in hockey, football, baseball, track, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, or kids who are just looking to get active!
